Inchanga Chilli Pepper is a Cayenne type elongated 100mm hot pepper that reaches maturity in approximately 90-100 days. Developed by Prof Rob Melis of Pro-Seed at the University of KwaZulu Natal. Inchanga is named after an area just outside Durban.
Inchanga capsicum is HOT and rates 6/10 on the heat scale. This capsicum is a Korean/Cayenne type of hot chili pepper. The Inchanga chili pepper is ideal to make chili powder.They vary in colour from a dark green to a bright red.
