Shipping and Returns

IMPORTANT!! PLEASE READ THE SHIPPING INFO BELOW!

Orders WILL NOT be cancelled nor refunded  due to you not having read the shipping costs and delivery time frame details as well as our Returns & Refunds Policies. So please read this entire page very carefully.

Courier Delivery

All parcels are delivered via courier. We make use of the Courier Guy, for all our Courier deliveries.

PLEASE NOTE:

  1. We do not deliver to a P. O. Box address.
  2. It is very important to provide accurate shipping information. So please enter a full street address as the shipping address, including house/apartment/building number, street name, suburb, city, province and postal code. Please also make sure that your telephone number is correct as well as your email address. If the parcel is to be delivered to a business, then make sure to add the Company name.
  3. The Shipping cost is calculated based on the city or town that your parcel will be delivered to, therefore it is very important that you type the correct name of your city or town, in the city/town field on the cart and/or checkout pages, else the calculated shipping charge may be more expensive. Please type out the full name of the city or town – do NOT type the abbreviated or slang version! Do NOT add your Suburb as the name of the City or Town!
  4. A Suburb is NOT a City or Town! A Suburb is a region within a city. For example: Bryanston is a Suburb of Johannesburg, so under the Suburb section of the shipping address, you will type Bryanston and under the Town/City section you will type Johannesburg. Only if your town does not have any suburbs, then you can type the City or Town name in both the city/town and the suburb section of the shipping address.
  5. You can calculate the exact shipping costs, by entering your street address and postal code on the cart and/or checkout pages.

Tracking / Consignment Number

An email notification will be sent to you once your order is dispatched. You will receive a tracking number with this email and you will be able to track your parcel online.

Returns and Refund Policy

1.1  Availability of goods and text description of goods

1.1.1 The provision of goods is subject to availability. Availability for each product is indicated on the website, but this information is merely a guideline. The Provider does not guarantee the accuracy of the product availability information nor the accuracy of the product description information – Although we do our best to ensure the accuracy of the information, sometimes items may be out of stock and product descriptions may have errors in the text.

1.1.2  In cases of unavailability, the Provider will offer the Client a similar product at the same price OR offer a refund for the out of stock item only. If the Client does not wish to select a substitute product, then the Provider will refund the client in full via Payfast, for the out of stock item. Credit and cheque card refunds can take up to 7 and 10 business days, and Instant EFT refunds can take between 2 and 3 business days, to reflect in your bank account.

Please note: The Provider will only refund the client for the out of stock item, not for the entire order.

1.2. Returns & Refunds

1.2.1  The Provider reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered does not meet the Provider’s standards. Should the Provider exercise this right, the User will receive a full refund with no deductions within 7 and 10 business days for Credit and cheque card refunds, and between 2 and 3 business days Instant EFT refunds.

1.2.2  Please note that once you have placed an order, it may not be cancelled.

1.2.3  We offer NO guarantee on shipments against loss or destruction. Even though we have implicit trust in the courier company that we use, it may happen that a parcel is lost or damaged during the shipping process. Should this happen, we will not be liable to refund the customer nor will we be liable to replace the damaged items in the parcel. There is NO return or warranty on any plants or seeds or any other products that we sell.

1.2.4  The onus is on you as the buyer, to ensure that you look properly at the photos of the plants you intend to buy, as the photos show you exactly what the plant looks like, to make sure that it is indeed the correct plant that you want to buy. Do not order purely based on plant name or description, because often plants have multiple common names worldwide, which can cause confusion. We will NOT refund you for not looking at the photos properly and ordering the wrong plant.

1.2.5  The onus is also on you as the buyer to be very careful when you unpack your plant, so as to not break the roots, leaves or stem – We pack the plants properly and we will not be held liable should you break or damage the plant upon receipt of the plants or if the plant is damaged by the courier company whilst in transit or during handling of the parcel.

1.2.6  With regards to seeds, although we sell fresh viable seeds, the onus is on you as the buyer, to germinate the seeds correctly. Additionally seed germination ratios can be variable, depending on various factors and we will NOT be liable, should any of the seeds that you have purchased from us, fail to germinate properly.

1.2.7  We send your parcel to the shipping address that you give us. It is very important to provide accurate  information and we do not deliver to a P. O. Box address. So please enter a full street address as the shipping address, including house/apartment/building number, street name, suburb, city, province and zip code. Please also make sure that your telephone number is correct as well as your email address.

We are not responsible for any return due to wrong shipping information provided or wrong telephone number provided.

1.2.8  We are not responsible for shipping delays which are beyond our control.
