Lemon verbena plant has a fragrant, lemony smell, small white flowers and narrow leaves. The plant has culinary uses and the plant also has medicinal benefits.
Planting the Lemon Verbena Cuttings
- Insert the cutting into moist potting soil.
- Place the pot in a slightly shaded spot, away from direct sunlight.
- Cover the pot with a plastic bag or a dome that has a ventilation opening, to retain humidity. If using a plastic bag, then cut a tiny slit in the bag for ventilation.
- Keep the soil moist, but not wet.
- Once the cutting starts taking root you will see new growth forming.
