Giant Cape Gooseberry (Physalis peruviana) is also known as Inca Berry. This gooseberry variety produces fruit which is about 2 to 3 times bigger than regular cape gooseberry fruit. The plant is a tender perennial which can grow up to a height of about 1m. Gooseberry is very easy to grow from seed and it can overwinter outdoors in mild areas or when grown in favored positions such as next to a sunny wall.
