Smoke Seed Primer Disc – 1 Disc

A Smoke Seed Primer Disc is recommended for treating seeds of proteas, leucospermums (pincushions), leucadendrons, ericas, Syncarpha, Helipterum & Phaenocoma (everlastings), restios, mesembs (vygies), Lobelia, grasses, sedges, Geleznowia, Hibbertia, Stirlingia, Verticordia, Actinostrobus, Pimelea, Lechenaultia Anigozanthus and many other species.

Seeds of many wildflowers are dormant and require very specific conditions for germination. The primer solution contains a combination of natural substances that have been found to overcome dormancy and stimulate seed germination. The degree of response varies with the species, but on average, treated seed samples give at least double the number of seedlings when compared to untreated samples.

Smoke Seed Primer Disc Usage

• Add some water to the paper in a suitable container and soak the seeds in the smoke-water solution for 24 hours.
• Each 1/2 disk is enough to make up to 25 ml of solution to treat about 50 large seeds.
• Each whole disk is enough to make up to 50 ml of solution to treat about 100 large seeds.
