Yellow Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Peppers (Capsicum chinenseare) are native to Trinidad. This is a very productive plant with white flowers. The pepper pods are on average 7 – 10cm in length and 4 – 6cm in diameter. The pods are creased, sometimes tapering to a small point. The peppers ripen from light green to bright yellow when mature. The flesh is crisp and yellow, encasing a central cavity filled with small, round, and flat, cream-colored seeds. The peppers have a sweet and fruity flavor that transitions into intense, lingering heat.
