Bulgarian Carrot Chilli Pepper Plant. These chilies originated in Hungary, where they are known as shipkas. They also go by the moniker “hot carrot peppers” for obvious reasons.

The Bulgarian Carrot Chilli Pepper has an intense flavor, a great pepper for roasting and salsas, for pizzas or for pickling later on.
It’s a bit crunchier than other chilies which makes it terrific for roasting and pickling. Plus, its colorful skin and fruity flavor looks and tastes great in salsas and chutney.
A great annual/perennial (they can over winter inside) variety good for growing in all areas. Heavy yielding, pods are 8cms long look like baby carrots.
