Jalapeno M Pepper is an improved thick-walled jalapeno pepper and the most popular of the jalapeno peppers. Heavy yields are produced on upright plants.
Jalapeno chilli pepper is a cultivar of the species Capsicum annuum originating in Mexico. The name jalapeño is Spanish for “from Xalapa” (also spelled Jalapa), the capital city of Veracruz, Mexico, where the pepper was traditionally cultivated. About 160 square km are dedicated for the cultivation in Mexico, primarily in the Papaloapan river basin in the north of the state of Veracruz and in the Delicias, Chihuahua area.
The jalapeño is a medium sized hot chili pepper. A mature Jalapeno M Pepper is 5–9 cm long and is commonly picked and sold when still green, but occasionally when ripe and red.
Place 2-3 seeds in plugs or a seed tray and top with a tiny amount of compost or seedling soil. Water the soil. Keeping the soil moist is crucial until the seeds germinate.
