Paprika is a variety of mild pepper (Capsicum annuum) that is dried, ground and used with food either as a spice or garnish. Medium-hot paprikas have great flavour and are great for drying. Yields medium long, flat tapered shaped fruit, which matures from green to red. Thin fruit walls help the fruit dry better and the pods are borne in an upright growing bush.
Paprika is packed with carotenoids, vitamin A, vitamin E, Iron, and a higher concentration of Vitamin C than lemons.
