Courier Delivery
SHIPPING SCHEDULE: Orders Placed on Monday to Thursday, will be shipped out on the following day. Orders placed on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, will be shipped out on the following Monday.
SHIPPING METHOD: All parcels are delivered via courier. We make use of the Courier Guy, for all our Courier deliveries. We do NOT send parcels via SAPO, Postnet or PUDO.
Please Note:
We do not deliver any orders to a P.O.Box address.
It is very important to provide accurate shipping information.Please enter a full street address as the shipping address, including house/apartment/building number, street name, suburb, city, province and postal code.
Please also make sure that your telephone number is correct as well as your email address. If the parcel is to be delivered to a business, then make sure to add the Company name.
The Shipping cost is calculated based on the city or town that your parcel will be delivered to, therefore it is very important that you select the correct name of your city or town, from the city/town drop-down box on the cart and/or checkout pages, else the calculated shipping charge may be more expensive.
Also, please make sure that you select the correct Province in which your town or city is located in. If you select the wrong province, the calculated shipping charge may be more expensive.
A Suburb is NOT a City or Town! A Suburb is a region within a city. For example: Bryanston is a Suburb of Johannesburg, so under the Suburb section of the shipping address, you will type Bryanston and under the Town/City section you will select Johannesburg. Only if your town does not have any suburbs, you can then type the City or Town name in the suburb section of the shipping address.
You can calculate the exact shipping cost, by entering your street address and postal code on the cart and/or checkout pages.
Make sure that your cellphone number is correct and not missing any digits. The Courier Company will send you a pin code before delivery, therefore it is very important that you provide the correct cellphone number. The parcel cannot be delivered if you provide the wrong cellphone number, if you provide an international cellphone number or if you provide a landline number!
We will send you an email once your order is dispatched. The email will contain the waybill number and the tracking link, so that you will be able to track the movements of your parcel online. You will also be able to retrieve this email on the tracking page of your account, if you have created an account with us.
Returns and Refund Policy
1.1 Availability of goods and text description of goods
The provision of goods is subject to availability. Availability for each product is indicated on the website, but this information is merely a guideline. The Provider does not guarantee the accuracy of the product availability information nor the accuracy of the product description information – Although we do our best to ensure the accuracy of the information, sometimes items may be out of stock and product descriptions may have errors in the text
In cases of unavailability, the Provider will offer the Customer the option to receive a Store Credit OR a Refund, for the out of stock item only. If the customer does not wish to get a Store Credit, then the Provider will refund the customer via Payfast, for the out of stock item. Credit and cheque card refunds can take up to 7 and 10 business days, and Instant EFT refunds can take between 2 and 3 business days, to reflect in your bank account.
PLEASE NOTE: The Provider will only refund the customer for the out of stock item, not for the entire order.
1.2. Returns and Refunds
The Provider reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered does not meet the Provider’s standards. Should the Provider exercise this right, the provider will give the customer an option of a store credit OR a refund. If the customer opts for a refund, then the customer will receive a full refund without deductions, within 7 and 10 business days for Credit and cheque card refunds, and between 2 and 3 business days Instant EFT refunds.
PLEASE NOTE:Once you have placed an order, you cannot cancel the order.
We offer NO guarantee on shipments against destruction. Even though we have implicit trust in the courier company that we use, it may happen that a parcel is lost or damaged during the shipping process.
Should the parcel be lost by the courier company, we will notify the customer and offer the customer the option to receive a Store Credit OR a Refund for the lost parcel. If the customer does not wish to get a Store Credit, then the Provider will refund the customer via Payfast, for the lost parcel. Credit and cheque card refunds can take up to 7 and 10 business days, and Instant EFT refunds can take between 2 and 3 business days, to reflect in your bank account.
Should the parcel be damaged by the courier company, we will not be liable to refund the customer nor will we be liable to replace the damaged items in the parcel.There is NO return or warranty on any plants or seeds or any other products that we sell.
The onus is on you as the buyer, to ensure that you look properly at the photos of the plants or seeds you intend to buy, as the photos show you exactly what the plant looks like. So please look carefully at the photos, to make sure that it is indeed the correct plant or seeds that you want to buy.
Do not order purely based on a plant name or description, because often plants have multiple common names worldwide, which can cause confusion.We will NOT refund you for not looking at the photos properly and ordering the wrong plant or seeds.
The onus is also on you as the customer to be very careful when you unpack your plant or plant cutting, so as to not break the roots, leaves or stem – We pack the plants and cuttings properly and we will not be held liable should you break or damage the plant or cutting upon receipt of the parcel or if the plant or cutting is damaged by the courier company whilst in transit or during handling of the parcel. The same applies to Geophytes.
Although we sell fresh viable seeds, seed germination ratios can be variable, depending on various factors such as Planting Season, Soil type & texture, Moisture, Soil pH, Soil salinity, Light, Temperature, Seed predators, Seed planting depth and much more. Additionally seed germination methods and cultivation practices, vary from person to person.
All these factors mentioned above are beyond our control.Therefore seed purchases are non-refundable and non-returnable. We will NOT be liable nor will we refund you, should any of the seeds that you have purchased from us, fail to germinate properly. We also do not issue refunds based on a water floating test or any other test.
We send your parcel to the shipping address that you give us. It is very important to provide accurate information and we do not deliver to a P. O. Box address. So please enter a full street address as the shipping address, including house/apartment/building number, street name, suburb, city, province and zip code. Please also make sure that your telephone number is correct as well as your email address.
We are not responsible for any return due to wrong shipping information provided or wrong telephone number provided.
We are not responsible for shipping delays which are beyond our control.
