Dragon Fruit Pink (Hylocereus undatus) has pink-skinned fruit with white flesh. The white-fleshed pitahaya, is a species of the genus Selenicereus in the family Cactaceae. The sweet fruit is oblong to oval and this is the most commonly grown dragon fruit. It is also known as Pitaya blanca or white-fleshed pitaya.
Growing Dragon Fruit Pink
Indoor Sowing: Spring and Summer.
Direct Sowing: Spring and Summer.
- Fill a cup or small pot with sterile seed starter or cactus soil mix.
- Moisten the soil but avoid saturating it with water.
- Use a spoon to mix the Dragon Fruit Seeds into the top quarter inch of soil.
- Mist if needed to ensure this layer is moist and then cover with a plastic sandwich bag or clear food wrap. The cover will retain moisture and warmth.
- Keep the soil moist until seeds germinate, which will take around 15 to 30 days.
- After the seeds germinate, uncover the plastic and transplant them to bigger pots when necessary.
