China Rose Radish – 100 Seeds

China Rose Radish (Raphanus sativus) is a Chinese heirloom radish dating back to 1850. The long, cylindrical, tapering roots reach 15-20cm in length and 5cm in diameter. The skin is a beautiful rose color, with white tips and firm white flesh.

Indoor Sowing: Not Recommended.

Direct Sowing: Spring and Autumn.

• Radish seeds can be planted in both the spring and autumn and not in the height of summer, when temperatures are typically too hot.
• For a spring planting, sow seeds 4–6 weeks before the average date of last frost.
• It’s best to plant radish seeds directly in the garden so as not to disturb their roots.
• Directly sow seeds outdoors 1cm deep and 2 – 3cm apart.
• Plant another round of seeds every 10 days or so for a continuous harvest of radishes in the late spring and early summer.
• Consistent, even moisture is key. Keep soil evenly moist but not waterlogged.
